handles your information

Enquiry information

When you send the enquiry form, the website stores what you entered: your name, email address, company, the service you asked about, origin, destination and the details of the cargo or vessel. It also records the time, the page you sent it from, your approximate country and the IP address of your connection, which protect the form from misuse. The information is held in a database hosted by Cloudflare and a copy is sent to the ASL operations team by email. ASL uses it to answer your enquiry and for no other purpose. Each enquiry has a reference number. To have one corrected or deleted, contact the team with that reference.

If the website cannot send

If the form cannot reach the website's database, it prepares the same enquiry as an email draft. You open the draft in your own email application and choose when to send it. The copy button puts the draft on your device's clipboard for the same purpose. Nothing is stored by the website in that case.

Website resources

This website uses locally hosted fonts and graphics. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical request information such as IP addresses to serve and protect the site. The contact page may show a Cloudflare Turnstile check, which confirms that a person is sending the form and does not track you across websites. The website does not add advertising or analytics trackers.
